Agnieszka Handzlik provides services in the field of: broadly defined civil law, including contract law; commercial and economic law; industrial property law; criminal law, including, in particular, economic crimes.
I graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Silesia in Katowice. I defended my Master’s dissertation in the Department of Criminal Procedure under the supervision of prof. dr hab. Kazimierz Zgryzek.
Currently, I am a member of the District Bar Association in Katowice.
My professional practice mainly focuses on the following fields of law: broadly defined civil law, including ,in particular, contract law; commercial and economic law; industrial property law; criminal law, including, in particular, economic crimes.
I have many years of experience in the provision of comprehensive legal services for business entities, including civil-law companies solely owned by local government units or associations.
I mainly specialise in preparing draft trade agreements and other products based on contractual relationships, such as all sorts of rules and regulations, general terms and conditions of sale, purchase and provision of services, issuing opinions on existing draft documents and negotiating them with my clients’ contractors.
Moreover, I also conduct comprehensive legal due diligence processes that allow clients to identify and assess existing and potential risks associated with capital transactions planned by them. The results of such processes enable them to make informed decisions on whether they should carry out a given transaction, and to develop a negotiation strategy in relation to the other party.
I also represent clients in court and out-of-court proceedings.
My professional interests also focus on criminal matters, including, in particular, matters regarding economic crimes.
I speak English.
